Areas of Interest

Areas of Interest

Clinical Interest for Patients
My many clinical interests include emergent stabilization of critically ill children and their management, both in the PICU and the Pediatric ED.

Care Philosophy
I strive to provide the very best of care for my pediatric patients. As an ICU/ED pediatrician, I have received and continue to receive the utmost cutting-edge medical information and technology available. But I also incorporate a holistic philosophy in treating my patients, knowing that taking best care of my pediatric patients involves taking best care of their family as well during that time of crisis. I am grateful that TCH has a wonderful nursing staff and child life department that works so closely as a team. I believe this team approach is what creates the best atmosphere for emergent/critically patients and their families.

Personal Interests
In my spare time, I enjoy teaching/taking yoga at Corepower Yoga in Denver as a certified yoga alliance instructor and skiing the slopes of Colorado in the winter, as well as listening to my husband's band play at local venues.

Volunteer Activities
I worked with the IHS in rural New Mexico for almost 7 yrs and continue in pursuing local opportunities to reach out to the community through the Urban Youth Program - to provide hope, strength, and experience to adolescents in Denver.
