Clinical Interest for Patients
Dr. Raymond specializes in caring for pediatric patients with diabetes. She is specifically interested in adolescents and young adults with diabetes. She also cares for patients with disorders of puberty, growth, development and additional hormone deficiencies.
Care Philosophy
Being a pediatric diabetes doctor offers me the opportunity to develop long-term partnerships with my patients and families. Diabetes impacts more than just the physical health of patients. Considering patients' needs, goals, and challenges is critical to providing good diabetes care. I am grateful for the opportunity to work closely with patients and families, especially adolescents and young adults who are preparing to leave home or already living on their own.
Personal Interests
In my free time, I enjoy any activity that can be done outside….hiking, running, and exploring new places with my husband. I also enjoy reading non-medical books, practicing yoga, and watching sporting events, especially soccer and hockey.
Volunteer Activities
I have participated in diabetes camps for children and adolescents of all ages. I have also volunteered at basketball camps for adolescents with diabetes.

Research Interest for Patients
Dr. Raymond is interested in understanding the best clinical approach to pediatric patients with diabetes, specifically adolescents and young adults as they transition to adult diabetes care. Dr. Raymond focused on diabetes research in adolescents and young adults during her fellowship and also completed advanced training in clinical research.
