Children’s made international news on March 7 with a MSNBC homepage top news story about our discovery of contaminated alcohol wipes. When a patient developed an unusual blood stream infection from the bacteria Bacillus cereus, it prompted a swift internal investigation that led to the product being immediately pulled from our shelves and a global recall of the wipes from hospitals, clinics and homes.
