Children's Hospital Colorado CAMP Program Gives Young Mothers Fresh Start
Children's Hospital Colorado's CAMP (Colorado Adolescent Maternity Program) Program is helping young mothers deal with the day-to-day stresses that come along with teen pregnancy.
"We want to reduce pre-term birth, address the significant mental health and social issues so that mom is healthier for herself and her child," says Dr. Stephen Scott, chairman of pediatric gynecology and CAMP co-director. "We also address the use of birth control, particularly among those teens who didn't want to be pregnant but weren't motivated to use birth control."
