This Holiday Season, Give a Gift of Hope and Healing

The holidays can be a particularly rough time for families with children in the hospital. At Children's Hospital Colorado we do our best to lift our patients' spirits during the holiday season and to make them feel welcome and comfortable year-round. There are many ways you can help support our mission of healing.

Donate toys, books and crafts

All year-round, our Association of Volunteers accepts in-kind donations of toys, books and craft supplies – view the Children’s Wish List (.pdf) to see the kinds of donations are needed. We especially need items for infants, toddlers and teens.

Give blood, give life

Donating blood is a no-cost, quick way to make a high-impact donation. Blood and platelet donations tend to decrease in November and December, making it critical time to donate. Find out if you’re eligible to give blood and make an appointment to donate today!

Maximum impact, minimum effort

As a nonprofit, Children’s Hospital Colorado relies on the generosity of donors like you. Financial support allows us to provide each child we care with the best possible healthcare.
Consider giving the gift of health to a child every month with a recurring gift to Children's Colorado.

Other fun ways to give back:
•    Online fundraising, set up a page and ask friends and family to donate in lieu of the usual gifts of socks, sweaters and slippers.
•    Tribute gifts in honor of friends, family and caregivers.
•    Enterprise Zone Tax Credit
•    Stock gifts, an easy way to donate.
•    Holiday cards are designed by Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders patients, and the proceeds from these cards help improve the lives of cancer patients. Last year, proceeds helped fund wigs, medical bracelets, critical  equipment and research.
•    Shop to support. Complete your holiday gift list with promotions and products that support the hospital.

The Denver Post's Charities annual Season to Share can increase your gift to Children's Colorado. Fifty percent of every donation is matched by the McCormick Foundation
