Keeping kids healthy with community programs
HealthTeacher.com is a health curriculum for K-12 teachers and health educators. The curriculum addresses the top health risk behaviors identified by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
The 9Health Fair In the Classroom Program serves as many as 70 schools each school year with training, technical support and interactive health education stations so that student leaders can put on their own health fair and teach their peers about healthy behaviors and choices.
SRTS programs encourage and enable more children to safely walk and bike to school. The programs examine conditions around schools and work to improve safety and accessibility and reduce traffic and air pollution in the vicinity of schools, thus encouraging a healthy and active lifestyle from an early age.

Videos for kids and parents
A partnership between Children's Colorado, Colorado Public Television (CPT12), Colorado Public News and the Tri-County Health Department has made possible a free collection of English and Spanish-language videos calling on kids, parents, teachers and caregivers to get up and move, and to eat healthfully. Most of the videos are targeted at children aged 3 to 8. The videos are free for use on television, websites, electronic communications and social media. Check out the public-service videos: "Let's Play, Let's Grow Strong!"
