Clinical Nutrition at Children's Hospital Colorado
More than 40 registered dietitians comprise The Clinical Nutrition Program at Children's Hospital Colorado. They treat a variety of conditions in children, including picky eaters, food allergies, children who have problems gaining weight and special needs patients with specific diagnoses and requirements.
Parents can make appointments with a dietitian or a weight management dietitian for individual consultation with their child.
Clinical Nutrition also has two physician-run clinics, Growth and Parenting (GAP) and GoodLIFE. The GAP Clinic treats children who are underweight or those who cannot gain sufficient weight. The GoodLIFE Clinic treats young children who are overweight, obese or gaining too much weight.
