Clinical Interest for Patients
My clinical interests include care of neonatal, pediatric, and adult patients with congenital heart disease before and after cardiac surgery,children with heart disease requiring critical care, and outpatient evaluation of children with possible or known heart disease.
Personal Interests
In my spare time I mostly act as a taxi driver for my two young children but also enjoy frequent trips to the mountains to ski and hike, reading, and cooking. We have a labradoodle puppy which also keeps us busy!
Volunteer Activities
I am involved in volunteer activities at my children's elementary school and am also involved in providing religious education at my church through a program called AWANA.

My research interests mainly are centered on care of children in the pediatric cardiac ICU, including ways to better care for our population by improving quality and assisting others in enrolling patients in clinical trials.
