Rehabilitation and Therapy at Children's Hospital Colorado

The primary goal of Children's Hospital Colorado Rehabilitation program is to optimize each child’s abilities to adapt to the environment, to ease the effects of disability on the child’s development, and to allow the child to be fully included in community living. A child's success in the program results from the collaboration of the family with our highly trained team of pediatric specialists. At Children's Hospital Colorado, the Rehabilitation staff, the child’s family and the child’s primary care physician comprise each child's rehabilitation team.

We are one of the only truly integrated pediatric orthopedics, orthopedic surgery, sports medicine and rehabilitation medicine programs in the country.This is important because treating orthopedic conditions requires collaboration and care from all types of pediatric movement specialists.
