Why choose Children's Hospital Colorado for trauma care

The Trauma Program at Children's provides the highest level of complex care for injured children, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. And unlike other local hospitals, Children's is a Level 1 Pediatric Trauma Center. That means our specially-trained pediatric experts treat children with the knowledge, experience, judgment and skill that can make the difference for an injured infant, child or teen.

The broad scope of our Pediatric Trauma Program begins with prevention and includes pre-hospital care, emergency, diagnostic, surgical, acute, and rehabilitation, as well as research, education and advocacy. It’s all part of our mission to help injured children get back to the business of being a kid as quickly as possible.

Children's Hospital Colorado is the Rocky Mountain region's only Level 1 Regional Pediatric Trauma Center.
