The Children's Colorado Breathing Institute's mission is to provide comprehensive clinical care and consultation for children with common and complex breathing problems. Our world-class team of pediatric pulmonologists is always available to care for children with shortness of breath, wheezing, cough, noisy breathing, oxygen dependency, recurrent pneumonia, and other general lung disorders.

Areas of nationally recognized expertise include asthma, cystic fibrosis, airway anomalies and disease, pulmonary hypertension, apnea and sleep-disordered breathing, primary ciliary dyskinesia and children's interstitial lung disease.

The Mike McMorris Cystic Fibrosis Research and Care Center at Children's Hospital Colorado is one of the premiere cystic fibrosis (CF) clinical care and research centers in the country. The CF Center at Children’s Colorado delivers state-of-the-art care to people with CF, provides education for healthcare professionals and for families with CF, and advances the field through clinical research.

Children's Hospital Colorado Sleep Center provides comprehensive clinics to evaluate patients and to make appropriate treatment recommendations so that the entire family can return to a normal night of sleep. Our team assists primary care physicians and specialists with the diagnosis and treatment of infants, children and adolescents with sleep problems.

Children's Hospital Colorado Children’s Interstitial Lung Disease (chILD) Program is one of the leading referral centers in the world for children with these rare lung conditions. Research in our hospital and in collaboration with other pediatric ILD centers around the country has led to the recognition and understanding of many new chILD disorders.
