About the conference
The purpose of this workshop is to provide clinicians with applicable, practical strategies for helping school-age children and adolescents who stutter overcome the problems associated with stuttering.
The presentation will include: guidelines for comprehensive evaluations, treatment recommendations, and goal-writing; how to prepare children for therapy; and video examples of treatment strategies and activities for improving their fluency, reducing their negative reactions to stuttering, educating others about stuttering, and communicating effectively across speaking situations.
