FREE Bicycle Event for Children

Bring your children to practice their bicycle riding on a course designed to teach them key skills.  The course is designed for children of all ability levels ages 3 to 12.  A separate course will be set up for children learning to ride a bicycle for the first time without training wheels.  Children will also learn important bicycle safety lessons at the event.  Bring your child’s bicycle and helmet or borrow one on the course and let them practice their skills.

Do your bicycles have a flat tire? A rusty chain?  Bring your family’s bicycles to the event and a bike mechanic will help make minor repairs to your bicycles.

Is your bike too old?  Are the kids’ bikes getting too small? Or could it just be time for new ones? {Re}cycle your old bicycle at this bike donation event to benefit The Bike Depot’s (www.thebikedepot.org) programming efforts in the community.

Bikes For Life encourages Colorado youth to develop healthy habits and a lifelong commitment to wellness through bicycling.  Please join Children’s Hospital Colorado, Aurora Public Schools, 5th Gear Kids, UnitedHealthcare, and BikeSource in promoting bicycling as a fun & healthy activity for your children!

5th Gear Kids earn 150 points at the event!
