We are pleased to announce the Chancellor’s John J. Conger Lectureship and Visiting Professorship at Children’s Hospital Colorado on the Anschutz Medical campus. The recipient of this prestigious Lectureship and Visiting Professorship is Dr. Peter Jensen, President and CEO of The REACH Institute, and Professor of Psychiatry and former Vice Chair for Research in the Department of Psychiatry and Psychology at the Mayo Clinic.

About the lecture

Since 2006, Dr. Jensen has applied basic science guided “change coaching” methods to assist over 1400 primary care clinicians (PCCs) nationwide to deliver child mental health services within primary care. Through this presentation, participants will:

  • Learn the most recent scientific findings about how & why people adopt a new behavior (such as PCCs learning to deliver child mental health services);
  • Describe the impact of REACH change coaching methods on physicians’ attitudes, beliefs, knowledge, and behavior; and
  • Identify what additional research is required to further improve methods for helping PCCs deliver effective behavioral health services in primary care.

CME credit is offered for this free lecture. Registration is not required.
