Children's Advocacy Boot Camp

Patriotic Girl With Flag

Children's Hospital Colorado is proud to announce its Advocacy Boot Camp - a new program for adults who want to learn how to advocate for children's health care issues that matter to them.

Consisting of nine monthly half-day sessions featuring expert speakers on a variety of advocacy-related topics, the hospital's Advocacy Boot Camp will resemble traditional leadership programs but will be geared toward teaching the fundamentals of becoming an effective advocate - be that at the Capitol, in your community, in your child's school or with your child's doctor.

Children's Colorado firmly believes that families should be able to get the health care they need when they need it, that decisions about your family's health care are too important to be left to others, and that every individual's voice matters. Advocacy Boot Camp is designed to teach people how to use their voices to bring about positive and lasting change related to children's health and access to care.
