Blood Types Needed at Children's Hospital Colorado

The rarest blood type is one that is not available when a child needs it.  That is why it is so important that Children's Hospital Colorado have donors available who represent all of the four blood types: O, A, B, AB.

Each of the four blood types have either a positive or negative Rh factor.  Blood types O and A are the most common and must be replenished daily.  Groups B and AB are rarer and collected as needed.
