Denver Baby Born With Half A Heart Gets 2nd Chance

Gabriel Gideon Basquez was born Jan. 24 with a condition called Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome, meaning his heart did not develop fully and could not keep him alive after birth. Gabriel's parents, Matt Basquez and Lisa Vallejos, opted for a heart transplant at Children's Hospital Colorado, and a donor came through in just 13 days. CBS4 reporter Molly Hughes follows the family through the surgery and shares the amazing story of Gabriel's second chance at life.
