Nurturing Privacy for Nurturing Mothers
Dr. Maya Bunik, medical director of the Child Health Clinic, was interviewed by the Denver Post for an article about the Workplace Accommodations for Nursing Mothers Act. Dr. Bunik is part of a coalition that helped pass the new state law, which requires employers to make a "reasonable effort" to offer a private space and paid or unpaid break time for breast pumping.
