Applauding Colorado's Immunization Efforts

In a Denver Post op-ed article Dr. Robert Brayden, pediatrician at Children's, acknowledges the importance of giving thanks to everyone responsible for keeping immunization efforts high in Colorado.
"Thank you to parents for doing the right thing and protecting your babies from disease. Thank you, physicians, nurses and public health departments for increasing access to vaccines. Thank you to the scientists who free our lives of disease. Thank you to all of Colorado for helping keep disease out of our state," wrote Brayden.
Roughly four out of five Colorado parents are fully vaccinating their children, resulting in powerful protection of our communities. This is a wonderful way to keep Colorado kids healthy and hope the efforts continue to grow.
