Surveys show that the majority of American children do not meet the recommended daily value of one or more essential nutrient. However, experts disagree on whether supplements for kids help the situation.
"An appropriate diet should cover all needs," said Dr. Stephen Daniels, pediatrician in chief at Children's Hospital Colorado.
