Heart of an Angel: Children's Hospital Colorado Patient Has Two Heart Transplants

Boulder Daily Camera

Samantha Remington received a heart transplant when she was just 4 months old. That heart gave her life for nearly 18 years, until last spring when the heart began failing and Samantha needed a second transplant.

With medical bills piling up, the Remington family received incredible support from the Boulder community including Buffs4Life, a non-profit charity founded by a former CU football coach.

And now, with a second new heart, Samantha can do anything she wants, like work as a spokeswoman and model for the American Heart Association and team up with her uncle to start the Samantha Remington Angel Heart Foundation. Watch a video about Samantha's story from the Daily Camera.
