Free parenting workshops are back!
Parenting. There is a lot to it. No one knows your kids like you do, but sometimes you need a quick tip, a new idea and maybe a little support to get past the fussing and on to the laughing, growing, learning and living. That's where the experts at Children's Hospital Colorado can help.
Children's Colorado is committed to providing a full range of pediatric services, often including services not available anywhere else. Our parenting workshops are one way we are able to share our pediatric expertise with you and your family.
Admission to the Parenting Workshop Series is FREE, but space is limited!
Parenting workshops in the Denver area:
- March 9 – Gluten-Free & Me Cooking Class at Children’s Museum at 10am, 11am and 12pm. Many families are deciding to go gluten-free for health reasons these days. However, finding foods for your child that are both gluten-free and healthy is often a difficult task. Gluten-free packaged foods are full of sugar, salt, and fat while also being low in fiber and valuable nutrients. Join Kyle Noble and Marisa Dzarnoski Riley, RD CNSC from the Colorado Center for Celiac Disease at Children's Hospital Colorado as they discuss ways to make a gluten-free diet healthier for your child and guide you in making some delicious and nutritious gluten-free snacks. *Please note: This workshop is free, but does not include the cost of admission to the museum*
