Biography & Interests
I believe in providing care for children and their families in an informative and collaborative method. I strive to bring a healing sense of humor and fun to the practice of pediatric gastroenterology.
I take a special interest in helping individuals with inflammatory bowel disease, reflux, esophagitis, aerodigestive disorders, failure to thrive, and children that need endoscopic procedures performed.
My work in bioethics tries to improve the interaction and dialogue between doctors and their families so that the alliance between them is stronger.
My research interest in bioethics tries to improve the interaction and dialogue between doctors and their families so that the alliance between them is stronger during pediatric procedures and medical care. I also am clinically interested in improving pediatric endoscopic procedures and outcomes.
In his spare time, Dr J enjoys jogging with his family, making barbecue for the family, computer programming, and playing basketball. When relaxing he is an avid fan of watching baseball and basketball. He also enjoys the sounds of nature while fishing out in the country and on the ocean.
