Persistent Pulmonary Hypertension of the Newborn: Radical Thoughts About Oxygen

This lecture will address the role of reactive oxygen species in the pulmonary vascular abnormalities associated with persistent pulmonary hypertension of the newborn (PPHN), as well as mechanisms by which oxygen may increase production of oxygen radicals and impair normal vascular function.
