Personalized Pediatrics for Autoimmune Diabetes

We can now predict Type 1A Diabetes and prevent the disease in animal models. Although we cannot yet prevent the disorder in man, clinical trials are underway. This presentation will discuss the paradigms and technology developed to address the autoimmunity of diabetes, and how they will almost certainly be applicable to most autoimmune disorders.
