Hiren Patel, BDS

India is a very diverse nation of 1.2 billion people with many of the same oral health issues as found in the U.S. and anywhere else in the world. Our presenters, three dentists from India currently completing the International Student Program in the School of Dental Medicine to be able to get a U.S. dental degree, will look at the oral health needs of the population. They will also discuss the health care system in India including where oral health "fits," the dental workforce available to serve the population, and future challenges.
