Colorado Pediatric Trauma Conference
The Colorado Pediatric Trauma Conference provides education regarding state of-the-art care of the pediatric trauma patient, including several topics on child physical abuse. This program will be of interest to MDs, RNs, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, respiratory therapists, EMS providers and aero medical personnel. Emergency and Trauma Outreach Symposia
These symposia offer physicians, nurses, pre-hospital providers and other health care team members the latest guidelines for pediatric practice recommendations through patient centered presentations and hands on skills training. We take Children's Colorado on the road and bring education to your community. These symposia offer CME, CNE, and EMS continuing education credits.

Annual EMS Conference
Children's Hospital Colorado is a certified EMS Training Group and provides Colorado’s largest pediatric education conference for EMS Providers. This annual conference is always held the last Thursday-Friday of January. Optional PALS certification or recertification is available.
Multi-Disciplinary Trauma Lecture Series (MTLS)
Pediatric trauma care is a constantly changing and complex science. This lecture series will address the multi-disciplinary team who cares for trauma patients by providing increased awareness of advances in specialty care such as plastic surgery, critical care, orthopedics and others using case-based discussions, care protocols, and continued surveillance for patient outcomes. Lectures are held from 12 to 1 PM at the Children's Hospital Colorado the third Monday of each month. Visit the link above for dates and topics. Telecom broadcast available. Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) is the result of a collaboration between the American Heart Association and the American Academy of Pediatrics. The course is designed to provide caregivers with skills which will enable them to both recognize the potential for respiratory and/or cardiac arrest in infants and children, and intervene in an appropriate manner by providing a systematic approach to these patients.
