Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) / Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) 

Course completion:
Upon successful completion of the American Heart Association ACLS and PALS course, a provider card will be issued. The card is valid for 2 years and may be renewed by taking a ACLS/ BLS/ PALS Renewal course prior to the end of the month in which the card expires.  If certification expires there is no grace period and the participant is required to take the full 2 day provider course.

Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)

Course completion:
Upon successful completion of the AAP/AHA NRP Provider Course, a provider card will be issued.  The card is valid for two years and may be renewed by taking a NRP Provider Course prior to the end of the month in which the card expires.

Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC) / TNCC

Course completion:

Upon successful completion of the ENPC/TNCC course, a provider card will be issued.  The card is valid for 4 years.  ENPC may either be renewed by taking a full 2 provider course or a 1 day renewal course.  The renewal must be done prior to the last day of the expiration month.  TNCC may only be renewed by taking a full 2 day provider course.  If certification expires there is no grace period and the participant will be required to take the full 2 day provider course.

Cancellation and attendance policies:

Attendance at all lectures and stations is required.  Completion will not be granted for late arrival or significant absence during any part of the course.

Greater than 3 weeks prior to start of course

3 weeks to 7 days prior to start of course

Less than 7 days prior to start of course

CHCO Paid Employees No penalty provided applicable CHEX course assignment has not been started. Subject to 50% repayment of course fee in addition to any applicable CHEX course assignment fee. Subject to full repayment of course fee in addition to any applicable CHEX course assignment fee.

Non-CHCO Paid Employees

Fully refunded 50% of course fees will be refunded No refunds will be given

Registrations fees will be fully refunded if a cancellation is received within three weeks of the course. Fifty percent will be refunded up to one week prior to the course, provided a substitute can be found. No refunds will be given after the time or for non-attendance.
