Children's Hospital Colorado Main Entrance
At our main entrance, you will be greeted warmly by our family of bronze rabbits created by Jim Buddish, a local artist. The scale of the rabbits and their accompanying carrot delight people of all ages. The main entrance to the hospital opens directly into the stunning four-story Boettcher Atrium —the heart of our hospital. Upon entering, look for the "Balloon Boy" logo behind the registration desk. There you'll be greeted, given a visitors badge and provided with directions, if you need them.
Helping Kids Heal
Upon entering Children's Hospital Colorado, we hope you'll see right away that it has been designed with your child in mind. Ceilings stretch four floors, art is everywhere, natural light abounds and a colorful, playful terrazzo floor sets the tone for your visit. Kids love to discover new things and our magnificent entry gives them plenty of opportunies to do just that. Stroll down the art walkway just past the Gelato Bar or help your child follow the floor maze to the elevator.Take the glass elevator up to the second floor of the Atrium to explore the Lego model of our hospital or the magical glass walls with hidden images. A few minutes of fun can help put your child at ease and make their visit less worrisome.
