Children's Hospital Colorado Teen Lounge
Your teen will love the features of our 3,000 square-foot Teen Lounge, located on the second floor, just off the main elevators. The space offers teens, as well as their teen siblings and friends, a chance to take a break from daily health regimens and hang out in a space where teens can be teens.
The space includes a pool table, basketball arcade, computers and video games, a CD and DVD library, a music and reading room, telephone booth for private phone calls, a crafts and games area, kitchenette and giant-screen movie theater.
Helping Kids Heal
We serve kids and teens everyday, so we know teens have their own, unique needs. To help them heal, it is important that they have time away from their room and their family where they can connect with friends and spend time being a teenager. The special in-house theater features moveable seats that can accommodate hospital beds and medical gas hook ups, so any of our teen patients can take a break from treatment.
