The Youth Advisory Council (YAC)

The Youth Advisory Council (YAC) is a group of teens and siblings who have had experiences at Children's Hospital Colorado. The goal of the Council is to create a better environment for pediatric patients at Children's Hospital Colorado.YAC provides the opportunity for the patients and siblings to have a voice in decisions for the hospital.

Youth Advisory Council Focus

  • To discuss issues that are important to children, teens and siblings during hospitalization and/or visits to the Outpatient Clinics at Children's Hospital Colorado
  • To provide feedback and suggestions on hospital programs and projects
  • To assist at hospital special events and/or meetings
  • To advise and contribute to programs for patients and siblings
