I've had an ectopic pregnancy in the past. Am I at risk for having another one if I become pregnant again?

In general, once you have an ectopic pregnancy, your chance of having another one is 10-25% — but it depends on your particular situation, the cause of the original ectopic, and how it was treated. About 85% of women who had an ectopic pregnancy in the past will later have a normal pregnancy. You'll want to talk with your doctor about your particular circumstances.
