Disability insurance

We provide short-term and long-term disability insurance through Unum to all benefits-eligible team members at no cost. This insurance is designed to help you meet your financial needs if you become unable to work due to a nonoccupational illness or injury.

Paid time off

You will accrue paid time off (PTO) to use for vacations, personal business, holidays, parent/teacher conferences and sick pay. Accrual rate for full-time status includes 22 days* per year for your first year and up to 34 days* per year after 15 years of employment.

* Includes six company holidays.

403(b) retirement savings plan

To help you plan for your financial security in retirement, we offer a 403(b) tax-deferred savings plan. The hospital also provides dollar-for-dollar matching up to 6% of your compensation that you contribute to the plan.

Flexible spending account

Our Flexible Benefit Plan allows you to set aside money for the purpose of paying certain expenses with pretax dollars. Funds for this purpose are designated during open enrollment and deducted directly from paychecks. Funds may be used for out-of-pocket healthcare expenses or dependent day care expenses.

Education Benefit

Children’s Colorado partners with Guild to offer tuition-free education benefits to team members.

Employee Assistance Program (EAP)

Our Employee Assistance Program provides assessment, referral, focused therapy and coaching for you and your family in dealing with abuse, anxiety, child/elder care, depression, addictions, financial problems, legal needs, marital/relationship issues, stress and other life issues.

Relocation assistance

We're proud of all the lifestyle advantages of our Colorado location. You may be eligible for relocation assistance to help you get here.

Hospital Employee Referral Bonus (HERB)

We believe that our current team members are often our best source for attracting and hiring new team members. That's why we introduced HERB to provide a cash award to team members who refer their friends to Children's Colorado.

Wellness program

Children's Colorado wants you to be able to get the absolute most out of life. We're pleased to be able to offer our team members a variety of wellness programs including biometric screenings, health assessments and yoga.

Team member gyms

Children's Colorado offers team members 24/7 access to our team member gym on the Anschutz Medical Campus. Team members who work at Memorial Hospital Central and Telstar have access to gyms at Memorial Hospital Central.
