To meet the unique requirements of you and your qualified dependents, we provide two UnitedHealthcare plans and a Kaiser Permanente HMO plan with differing premiums and deductibles. We also offer a choice of two dental plans through Delta Dental as well as vision coverage.
You will accrue paid time off (PTO) for vacations, personal business, holidays, parent/teacher conferences and sick pay. Accrual rate for full-time status includes 22 days* per year for your first year and up to 34 days* per year after 15 years of employment.
*Six company holidays are deducted from your annual PTO balance.
To help you plan for your financial security in retirement, we offer a 403(b) tax-deferred savings plan. The hospital also provides dollar-for-dollar matching up to 6% of your compensation that you contribute to the plan.
Our Flexible Benefit Plan allows you to set aside money for the purpose of paying certain expenses with pre-tax dollars. Funds for this purpose are designated during open enrollment and deducted directly from paychecks. Funds may be used for out-of-pocket healthcare expenses or dependent day care expenses.
Because we're passionate about your ongoing education and advancement, we provide up to $2,600 (undergrad-level) and $2,750 (graduate-level) per year (depending on number of hours worked) for formal education opportunities related to your career development.
Our Employee Assistance Program provides assessment, referral, focused therapy and coaching for you and your family in dealing with abuse, anxiety, child/elder care, depression, addictions, financial problems, legal needs, marital/relationship issues, stress and other life issues.
This is a unique program to provide you with assistance if you should experience a temporary breakdown in your normal care arrangements and you need to get to work. You will have 24/7 access to experienced Backup Care Specialists so that you can get to work assured in the knowledge that your loved ones—from infants to the elderly—are in skilled hands.

You may elect benefit coverage for yourself and your eligible dependents. In general, your eligible dependents include your spouse and your dependent children. Dependent children are eligible until the end of the month in which they turn 26 years old. Your unmarried children who are mentally or physically disabled and who rely on you for support and maintenance are eligible beyond the limiting age. Active employees can also add same-sex domestic partners and their eligible dependents to their medical, dental and vision coverage only once a year during an open enrollment period.
If you wish to enroll a same-sex domestic partner, you and your domestic partner must complete an Affidavit of Same-Sex Domestic Partnership.
