After an extensive national search, Gil Peri has been named senior vice president and chief strategy officer and will join Children’s Hospital Colorado (Children’s Colorado) effective Aug. 20.
Peri has nearly two decades of leadership experience in strategic planning, performance improvement and market development for healthcare systems. At Children's Colorado, Peri will serve as a member of the senior leadership team and report directly to Chief Executive Officer Jim Shmerling.
"I can speak for the entire senior leadership team when I say that we are excited to have Gil to work alongside us to lead Children’s Colorado through continued success while furthering our mission," Shmerling said.
Peri last worked at Nationwide Children's Hospital in Ohio, where he served for five years as the vice president for strategy and regional development. His earlier experience includes serving as director of business development and clinical services for BayCare Health System in Florida.
Peri holds a master's degree in business administration and a master's degree in public health from the University of South Florida.
