The Northern Colorado Outlaws, a pee wee football from Fort Collins, celebrated a state championship win by visiting their teammate, 12-year-old Jackson Simpson in the hospital. Jackson, who is undergoing treatments for a malignant size tumor, was greeted by the team with balloons, banners and best wishes.

“Being able to bring these boys after a great football win, but to come here and see their friend, see their teammate and focus on what’s really important is the biggest thing for these boys,” said Dan Cover, head coach of the Northern Colorado Outlaws.
