Michael Handler, MD Appointed as New Associate Surgeon-In-Chief

Children’s Hospital Colorado President and CEO Jena Hausmann and Timothy Crombleholme, MD announced the appointment of Michael Handler, MD, McMurry Seebaum Chair in Pediatric Neurosurgery, as the Associate Surgeon-In-Chief (ASIC) for the Division of Surgery this week.

As ASIC, Dr. Handler will manage the day-to-day operations for the Division of Surgery. Drs. Handler and Crombleholme will partner closely to represent the surgeons at Children’s Colorado who serve our patients and families.

Dr. Handler has a long history at Children’s Colorado, the School of Medicine and University Physicians, Inc. and has prior experience as Interim SIC at Children’s Colorado.
