Young Patients Are the Stars at Seacrest Studios

Seacrest Studios makes visiting the hospital a more positive experience for Children's Hospital Colorado patients like 15-year-old Aidan Rhodes.

“We have used this as a reward,” said Aidan's mom about getting to host his music show. “A few months ago it took him four hours to get through a blood draw, but this last one took us just 15 minutes, and he was calm and happy and it is a huge deal.

Kid-hosted programming where our patients are superstars

“Kids feel confident in here, they feel comfortable in here. They know this is their place,” said Cody Hudson, child life specialist at Children's Colorado. “When they walk in we know their name, and if we don’t we learn their name, and they are the superstar.”
