For this July's Pediatric Download, we are talking about youth sports again — specifically, the heart of the game. Join us as Christopher Rausch, MD, the Medical Director of our Pediatric Cardiology Network of Care and Outreach, as well as the Director of our Cardiopulmonary Exercise Laboratory, discusses cardiac screening for young athletes and return to play guidelines. 

You can expect to learn about the following:

• How to recognize common cardiac causes of sudden death in young athletes.
• When to refer athletes for cardiology evaluation.
• Where to find key resources for emergency action planning in schools and sports teams.
