For our December Pediatric Download provider Q&A forum at Children’s Hospital Colorado, we will explore the current epidemiology of seasonal influenza in pediatrics. This month’s Pediatric Download will be co-hosted by Alison Brent, MD, Medical Director of Physician Relations, and Hoke Stapp, MD, Medical Director of the Pediatric Care Network. The Pediatric Care Network is an innovative, collaborative and coordinated system of pediatric care with over 1,400 providers in Colorado. Our expert guests, pediatric infectious disease specialist Suchitra Rao, MD, and pediatric critical care specialist Aline Maddux, MD, will help providers prepare for this upcoming influenza season.

The conversation will touch on topics including:

• What pediatricians need to know about H5N1
• Recommendations on influenza testing and treatment
• Updates on influenza vaccination guidance
