Thank you for your interest in donating toys and other needed items to Children’s Hospital Colorado!  As a result of our community’s generosity, we are able to help make the holiday season, birthdays and other special events memorable for our patients and families. Donation guidelines

To better assist you with decisions regarding donations, please keep in mind:

  1. Due to infection control guidelines for all of our patients, we cannot accept used items.
  2.  Newborns, infants, toddlers and adolescents are the age groups in greatest need.
  3.  Items need to be in their original packaging.
  4. We cannot accept the following: 
    • toys that depict violence, i.e. guns, swords
    • food products, potted plants, latex balloons
    • games that are “M” rated or movies that are “R” rated

  • Brand new clothing  for sizes toddler-adult (specifically pants and shorts of all sizes with elastic waist band)

  • Xbox 360 games that do not require the use of the Kinect sensor (no “M” rated games please)
  • Crayons with 4-8 crayons per pack
  • Nerf basketball hoops

  • New Release DVDs for all ages English and Spanish (no “R” rated DVDs please)
