About our Craniofacial Program

The Craniofacial Program provides diagnosis and long-term treatment for children with congenital and acquired conditions of the head and face. Providing care for children with craniofacial conditions is a lifelong commitment. We are proud to be one of the top medical centers in the country treating children with craniofacial conditions, starting from prenatal diagnosis and supporting them into adulthood.

Why choose the Craniofacial Program at Children's Hospital Colorado?

An experienced and compassionate craniofacial program

We’re one of the most experienced craniofacial programs in the country with over 1,000 craniofacial surgeries and over 30 years of expertise in treatment of craniofacial differences. Our program is the leading center in the Rocky Mountain region for comprehensive treatment of patients with craniosynostosis and dysmorphic craniofacial conditions.

A team of pediatric experts work together as the craniofacial care team

Our multidisciplinary craniofacial team consists of specialists from many departments at Children's Hospital Colorado, including craniofacial plastic surgery, neurosurgery, otolaryngology, nursing, ophthalmology, craniofacial orthodontics, radiology and neuropsychology. Together, we treat the most serious and complex craniofacial conditions and provide children and their families with higher quality of life by addressing both physical and mental health.

Endorsed by the American Cleft Palate-Craniofacial Association

The American Cleft Palate-Craniofacial Association has endorsed our program, recognizing our ability to provide the best possible results for children born with cleft or craniofacial conditions. It’s not only our experience and expertise that help us earn this recognition every year, but our passion to help all children with craniofacial conditions live their life to the fullest.
