Blood Disorders Clinic
The Blood Disorders Clinic team is dedicated to providing expert care for adolescents and young women with bleeding disorders. We provide support to girls with irregular bleeding conditions and other reproductive health questions and concerns. The care team includes hematologists, gynecologists, social workers and nurses.
In conjunction with the Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders, our pediatric and adolescent gynecologists provide care in the Oncology Clinic. During this very difficult time in a child or adolescent’s life, we offer patients compassionate and specialized care. Our experts counsel girls who are undergoing cancer treatments about fertility preservation options before and after chemotherapy/radiation, as well as those who are in remission and have questions or concerns.
