For Patients:
My research includes attempting to improve function after stroke by using a rapid response team to treat stroke symptoms quickly and minimize the consequences of stroke. I also have interests in seizure surgeries and development of a protocol that maximizes the outcome of hopefully being able to resect the lesion at the time of placement of monitoring grids instead of resection one week after grid placement while providing the maximal amount of comfort.

I also have interest in fine tuning a new protocol for providing maximal comfort and amnesia while still maximizing the chance of being able to resect the seizure focus at the time of placement of monitoring grids. Currently the grids are placed and monitored for a week before being taken back to the operating room for resection.
