Experience and background
I am a general pediatrician specializing in the care of children with medical complexity (CMC) and disabilities including neurogenetic conditions and their families, focusing on wellness and preventive care in the medical home.
I am the Medial Director of KidStreet, a medical therapeutic program for young children with chronic medical conditions, and a primary care and consulting pediatrician in Special Care Clinic complex care program at Children's Hospital Colorado. I am the co-director of the SYNGAP1 and SCN2a/8a multidisciplinary clinic and provide care in many neurogenetic multidisciplinary programs at CHCO.

My research focus includes 1. preventive care for CMC (oral health, mental and behavioral health, nutrition/obesity prevention, home care), 2. medical home model, and 3. improving care for neurogenetic conditions. I completed the ACCORDS SCORE fellowship and am a member of ACCORDS.
