Meet Rony Marwan, MD

As a fetal and neonatal surgeon, and a father of 3 kids, my utmost goal is to provide parents and their loved ones with the best possible outcomes. Prior to surgery, I take pride in providing families with comfort and security to alleviate worries at a difficult time.

Get to know his background

My clinical interests include treating congenital malformations in babies whether they are diagnosed prenatally or after birth. This includes fetal surgery, minimally invasive thoracic surgery, neonatal surgery, diaphragmatic hernias, and single incision pediatric laparoscopic surgery.

For Patients:
As a member of the Colorado Fetal Care Center my clinical research is primarily focused on fetal anomalies and outcomes after fetal intervention. Moreover, I am also interested in outcomes after Single Incision Pediatric Endoscopic Surgery (SIPES).
For Referring Providers:
My research interests are primarily focused on understanding and investigating the molecular and cellular biology of neural tube defects and developing an innovative minimally invasive approach to provide earlier in utero closure. I am also interested in pulmonary vascular and airway response to stretch and tracheal occlusion as it pertains to lung growth and development.
