My care philosophy
I take a meticulous detail-oriented approach to every surgery including thorough pre-operative and post-operative care to provide the best possible outcome from any surgical procedure. While there are no guarantees in medicine, especially surgery, our team will work hard to provide a positive outcome. I am fortunate to work with excellent anesthesiologists and supportive non-surgical specialists both in Colorado Springs and Children's Hospital Colorado, to provide superior peri-operative care and a rapid return to play and sports.

Experience and background
My practice emphasizes the surgical treatment of bone and joint disorders in children and adolescents such as sports injuries, scoliosis, fractures, dislocations, and many congenital disorders including club feet, dislocated hips, brittle bone disease, limb deformities, and others. Working with a team of nurses, surgical technicians, physical and occupational therapists and pediatric anesthesiologists, our goal is to make the surgical experience as gentle and painless as possible, both for the child and family, and then to restore maximum function with return to play and sports as soon as possible. The business of children is play and sport, and we want to see them succeed in business!
