My care philosophy

When things go wrong and people need help, they usually talk with someone they trust to get support, ideas, or specific ways to deal with problems. But, what do you do when the people you know are too close to the situation to really help or if they don’t really know how to help? That’s where therapists like me come in. I love helping children reach individual goals or meeting with parents and sometimes the whole family to solve problems that seem difficult or even hopeless. I’m like a consultant who knows lots of different ways to solve problems. One way I can help is by seeing the possibilities for how things can change for the better (known as Solution Oriented Therapy). Another way is by helping you figure out strategies, plans, and practical things you can do to make things better (known as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy). By building on strengths and finding creative solutions there are endless possibilities to resolve the problems we face.
