Meet Jennifer Woods, MD

Adolescents have a lot to say, and I strive to listen to them carefully while providing the best medical care for them as a patient and as a person.

As an adolescent medicine physician, I have many interests for the care of teens including primary care, contraception and women's health issues, mental health and eating disorders.

For Patients:
I am interested in medical education to aide medical students and residents learn to work and communicate more fully with patients. I also do work with adolescent sexuality particularly focused in the area of women's health.
For Referring Providers:
My research interests are primarily in medical education with particular interest in medical student and resident learning, self-efficacy and communication with patients, as well as sexual behaviors of adolescents with particular focus on gynecology and contraception.
