Clinical opportunities at Children's Colorado
Our clinical team works on the front lines of children's healthcare, innovating new treatments, devices and cures. We're hiring for a variety of clinical roles, including new and seasoned nurses, neonatal nurse practitioners, advanced practice providers and more. Learn more about clinical opportunities.
Physicians, many of our advanced practice providers and some other provider roles (including, but not limited to most psychologists, behavioral health counselors and genetic counselors) who practice at Children’s Colorado are hired and employed through the University of Colorado through an affiliation agreement. You will find postings for these positions on the CU Careers website.
Nonclinical opportunities at Children's Colorado
Running a leading nonprofit healthcare network requires a variety of expertise in addition to medicine. We're hiring for many nonclinical roles in areas ranging from accounting and finance to building maintenance. Learn more about nonclinical opportunities.
Remote and hybrid opportunities
Children’s Colorado is focused on clinical care for our patients and families. As such, most of our clinical and clinical support positions do not have remote work options. However, we do provide remote work options in some of our administrative areas and those are specifically noted in applicable job postings.
Remote work is designated in the job posting as either “hybrid” or “remote” status. A “hybrid” position is one in which some or most of the work is performed remotely. Hybrid positions include the requirement for the team member to be available to come onsite as needed. The detailed requirements for onsite work will vary by hybrid position and may be discussed during the interview process.
CHCO also has a small number of positions that are entirely “remote” and these positions do not have the requirement to be onsite.
The following list of states are those that Children’s Colorado will not allow employees to work remotely from. This is due to a number of factors including but not limited to the complexity of that state’s various employment laws and regulations, compliance requirements, taxes, and/or workers compensation.
Alaska, California, Connecticut, District of Columbia, Hawaii, Kentucky, Maryland, Massachusetts, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, North Dakota, Ohio, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Utah, Vermont, Washington, Wyoming, Puerto Rico, US Virgin Islands
COVID-19 vaccination requirements
The health and safety of our patients and team members are important to us. That’s why all team members are required to be completely vaccinated against COVID-19. Beginning Nov. 1, 2021, new team members are required to be fully vaccinated and/or have an approved exemption before their first day on-site.
This policy applies to all employees, medical staff, trainees, volunteers, vendors, medical students and contract staff.
